The wine festival kicks off with a new, exclusive event, Cheese the Day, on Thursday May 30, 6:30 pm at Colombo Lodge.
He's back! This is event is presented by the Canadian Cheese Ambassador, David Beaudoin. Beaudoin will be presenting a lively and interactive session on pairing B.C./Canadian cheeses with amazing wines and food. Make no mistake, this is a PERFORMANCE that got a standing ovation last year!
This “other worldly experience” offers an opportunity to learn about a variety of cheeses while being entertained by a comedic and knowledgeable cheese connoisseur. Guests will enjoy a variety of foods paired with cheese and specific beverages to enhance the flavor of that bite. Enjoy outstanding pairing of cheeses, accoutrements, and wines, cider and a mocktail —creating a combination of flavors that will delight the palette. This exciting event is a must for foodies and cheese lovers.
